  • JASON R. SWENK, Chief Executive Officer


    Jason R. Swenk is co-founder and chief executive officer of Solar Velocity LLC. Under his leadership, Solar Velocity developed innovative solutions and cutting edge technologies that have made the company a leader in traditional and Web-based marketing. He is responsible for determining the overall direction of the company.

    Prior to co-founding Solar Velocity in November 1999, Swenk provided Web design and development expertise at Arthur Andersen LLP, during which he worked with numerous Fortune 100 companies. At Solar Velocity, he continues to apply this expertise in collaborations with national and international clientele, including AFLAC Incorporated, BellSouth, BP AMOCO, Beazer Homes, Cingular Wireless, and Crystal Springs Water.

    Under Swenk’s direction, Solar Velocity has received the Top 10 Most Dependable Web Design Firm in the Southeast as well as the “Top 25 Business in Atlanta” award from the Chamber of Commerce for three consecutive years (2003, 2004, 2005), in addition to several other industry performance awards.

    Swenk holds a bachelors degree in Management Information Systems from Florida State University. He serves on the Metro Atlanta Chamber’s Small Business Council. Other community and civic activities include Habitat for Humanity, the Georgia Regional Mustang Club (president), and periodic Ironman Triathlon competitions.

    Swenk resides in Atlanta, Georgia, with his wife, Kimberly, and son, Luke.


  • KIRBY J. WINTERS, JR., Chief Operating Officer, Chairman


    Kirby J. Winters, Jr. is co-founder, chief operating officer, and Chairman of the Board of Solar Velocity LLC. He directs the operations of Solar Velocity and lends his considerable expertise to the company’s technology strength. Under his direction, Solar Velocity’s teams of design and development experts provide interactive solutions and creative processes to maximize clients’ business growth. Winters consults directly with Solar Velocity clients, including Cingular Wireless, BellSouth, Aflac, Inc., and Farmers and Merchants Bank.

    Prior to co-founding Solar Velocity in 1999, Winters was at the forefront of Internet technology services for more than 10 years. He managed a variety of internet and system development organizations within the telecommunications, retail, and banking industries. While working at GTE (now Verizon), Winters was responsible for development of that company’s first E-commerce program.

    Winters holds a business degree in Marketing from the Goizueta School of Business at Emory University. He is a member of the Smyrna Business Association (2005 president), and Rotary International, Vinings Chapter, in addition to other civic and community activities.

    Winters and his wife, Heather, and son, KJ, live in Atlanta, Georgia.
